Angie McEvoy is a charming and laid back stage performer, mixed with a dry and cutting wit. She performs regularly around the UK, including most major venues like The Comedy Store and Jongleurs. Angie also was the first Female Comedian to perform in Russia and was interviewed on BBC Radio 4 about this (you can listen via the link below)
Angie started her career with performances at the Edinburgh Festival in 2000, where she was voted runner-up in the BBC New Comedy Awards. Since then she has become a very skilled performer and won critical acclaim. Her other Festival credits include; Belfast Comedy Festival, the Leicester Comedy Festival and has performed in Berlin & Amsterdam as part of ‘OTK Roadshow’.
Angie is great at writing for shows under pressure and can write to order on a vast array of subjects and has written and performed on such TV shows as Richard & Judy, Vanessa Feltz Show, The Jeremy Vine Show and the LBC Weekend Breakfast Show.
She has also written various parodies and comic messages for one of the leading Mobile Phone message suppliers; ZeProd, and has had work published in the National Geographic Books.
