I completed a run at Edinburgh 2006 in the well established Big Value Comedy Show, at The Café Royal. I also recently performed at The Brighton Comedy festival in a show recorded for BBC Radio 7.
I Started doing stand up in May 2005.
I got sent an email about Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol Competition, I applied & to cut a long story short I was crowned winner of Comedy Idol 2005, I appeared with Jimmy Carr at The Bloomsbury Theatre. I was a semi-finalist later that year in the BBC New Comedy awards and So You Think You’re Funny, too.
I appear regularly at Downstairs at The Kings Head - (where I have won their new acts comp 4 times)
I run my own comedy night in Southampton at The Orange Rooms and have had such guests as Russell Brand, Reginald D Hunter, Michael McIntyre, Gary Delaney, Sean Collins, Tony Law and more. It’s on the first Sunday of the month. My style is described as laconic and charming (not my own words). I talk about my failings, inadequacies, mistakes and general stupidity, but delivered with supreme confidence and sexual edginess(?) It’s a proper mish-mash!
