Jade the Folk Singer first grabbed media attention when she won the 2003 Funny Women Awards, taking London's Comedy Store by storm. Jade (aka Sarah Adams) has since appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in her solo shows Jade the Folk Singer in The Happy Show, Folk as F**k, and Mullets and Daughters at The Pleasance. She has also appeared at the Liverpool Comedy Festival and the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
She is well known on the UK comedy circuit, and gigs regularly.
